It feels genuinely amazing the moment an automation you've created completes a set of complex tasks at the click of a button. I like that.
All About FreeDAIY
I started FreeDAIY with the idea to help small businesses automate their day-to-day tasks with automation. I have no coding background, but I am a technical Growth Product Manager working in the tech world. The things I create at work require software engineers and a lot of time. The things I have on this site were built by me using a myriad of AI tools and other complimentary tools.

The idea with this site is to share what I've created so you can see it and interact with it to hopefully spark your own imaginations with what could be possible in your own day-to-day tasks. I'll also try to include information about how it was done also if there's anything you want more info on reach out. If you can get past my Optimistic AI pirate running my contact email then I'll be more than happy to provide you with step-by-step guidance on anything that's on this site.

The collection of apps and automations available were created using various tools. AI tools like Chat GPT, Claude, MidJourney, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Suno, Dall.E3 and others. Complimentary apps like Make.com, Google Workplace and Airtable help connect the tools to allow automations which can benefit from AI.
At the moment building apps with AI requires a lot of back and forth bug fixing. Which kills me at time but my coding friends tell me that this is just coding. As AI's get more powerful our error handling will reduce and already things like Lovable, and Claude can create simple working apps with a single prompt.
The App tiles on the main site were created with MidJourney and to get the ball rolling sharing a combination of hands on experience and education this is exactly how it was done
To create images with complimentary colours I took a screen shot from the FreeDAIY website calculator and wrote this prompt in MidJourney's Create section for each tile.
"Create an image tile for an app that {INSERT APP PURPOSE}. The name of the app is {INSERT APP NAME}. Create your image using the screenshot attached. This image will be on the website accompanying the uploaded images website so the colours and font of your image should match the colour and font in the image provided to ensure consistency across the website."
